Our Banking & Finance team has once again secured a strong ranking in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific for the fourth consecutive year after being recognised as a Tier 4 firm by IFLR1000 as well as “Notable Firm” by Asialaw Profiles. Under the leadership of partner Joy Gao, a recognised lawyer by Chambers & Partners and IFLR1000, the team capitalises on its core strength to provide clients with a wide range of services including syndicated and bilateral loans, asset finance, project finance, debt restructuring, and financial regulation.

Our Intellectual Property team, which made its debut in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific rankings last year, has now advanced to Tier 4. Led by IP partner and Head of SPL Frank Liu, the team has achieved outstanding results and was recently named “Copyright Firm of the Year” in the 2024 China IP Awards by Asia IP magazine. The team continues to excel in providing comprehensive legal services for patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and domain names for both domestic and international clients.
